About YSC14

The YSC14 Youth Stars Cup is an international tournament for U14 youngsters from all over the (bandy)world.

2025 the cup is played 31 Jan - 2 Febr.

Teams are invited to this tournament which is played at Gubbangen, Stockholm. We also encourage both old and new clubs to fill out the application form below or send an email to YSC@GT76bandy.se.

For Youth Stars Cup 2025, the following fees apply:

Registration fee:
SEK 3000 / team

Participation fee (including leaders):

• Hotel and Food Packages: 1800 SEK / person
• Food package: 550 SEK / person
• Participation only (not hotel, not food): 1976 SEK / team 

Registration for the tournament is binding when the registration fee is received in the cup's bank account.

The fee is due for payment no later than August 1 for invited teams, or within two weeks of reporting their participation.

Participant fees are paid no later than 30 days before cup start to the cup's bank account. To confirm your hotel booking, the registration fee must be paid. Hotel cards are non-refundable. For other levels, the principle applies that refunds are not possible no later than ten days before cup start, before 75 percent of the fee is refunded. 50 percent of the sum can be refunded against presentation of sick certificates.

Registration fees are marked with 'YSC Team name' when paid. 

Participant fees are marked with 'YSC Team name XX YY' where XX is to be replaced with the number of participants and YY is replaced with the type of accommodation you choose (Hotel and food / Food / Only participation).

Cup fee and international teams

Hotel accommodation

For teams that choose hotel accommodation, they will stay at Quality Hotel Globe. The price includes part in double or triple room and breakfast for two nights.

We normally book for 22 people, 6 triple rooms and 2 double rooms as standard packages per team.

No accommodation - only food

For teams that do not want accommodation, lunch includes Saturday and Sunday as well as evening meal / dinner Friday and Saturday.

parental Accommodation

1. The match time is 2x20 minutes with a maximum 5 minute break at halftime. If the game schedule allows, 2x25 min is played in the playoffs. No timeouts.
2. Unlimited with replacement players allowed.
3. The team must unconditionally be ready for games on time, late arrival with 5 minutes means WO for the opponents (3-0)
4. Penalty time is 3 minutes.
5. Teams order in the group stage are distinguished as follows: Number of points - Goal difference - More goals made - Mutual meetings - Draw
6. Penalties are used in playoff games. Three penalties per team. Then sudden death penalties until a winner can be decided. The same player may not strike two penalties until all players (except goalkeepers) in the team have scored each penalty. Players who were expelled at the end of the match and players who received match penalties may not participate in the penalty. 
   (Pending full-time placement matches means split placement.) 
7. If the team has the same color on the jerseys, the team that stands as away team change jerseys.
8. No warming on ice
9. Sharpening skates takes place in a special room. All teams need to bring their own sharpening machine.
10. Any protests are submitted to the competition committee no later than half an hour after the match has ended, together with a protest fee of SEK 800. The fee is refunded if the protest is approved
11. In the event of unforeseen events, match times may change, each team is responsible for ensuring when matches begin
12. Others, the Swedish Bandy Association's competition rules apply.

A FairPlay prize of 1976 SEK goes to the (shared if needed) team/teams with the least number of penalty minutes.

Exemptions

For U14, players are allowed to fill a maximum of 14 years during the cup year.

All teams are allowed to bring an overaged player (one year older) if he has been granted a dispensation for league games. Exemption applications and any documents must be sent to the  cup management  no later than three weeks before cup start. For girls, the rule is that they may be two years older and not covered by the previous rule. Otherwise, dispensaries only apply if there are special reasons and are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, however, our attitude will be restrictive. In all cases, overaged players must be notified in advance.
